At Fly Fish Food, we tie every fly and select every piece of gear with the same care and precision we use on the river. We’re confident you’ll love your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to make it right.

Our Policy

We gladly accept returns and exchanges for most new, unused items within 15 days of you receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, with original tags and packaging.

Please Note: For the safety and integrity of our products, all fly tying materials (including Chenille and Beads) and clearance items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. This is due to the difficulty in verifying their condition once the packaging has been opened.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to get started:

  1. Contact Us: Within 15 days of delivery, please email our friendly customer service team at [email protected]. Include your order number and details about the product you would like to return or exchange.
  2. Wait for Instructions: We will promptly email you a return authorization number and the shipping address for your return. Please do not send anything back to us without this authorization number, as we cannot process unidentified returns.
  3. Ship Your Item: Carefully pack the unused item(s) in their original packaging. Include a copy of your original packing slip or a note with your name and order number. Ship your return to the address we provide. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as you are responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping until we receive the package.
  4. We Process Your Request: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.

Refunds

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that depending on your bank or credit card company (Visa, MasterCard, JCB), it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to post to your account.

Please note: The original cost of shipping is non-refundable. For exchanges, we will cover the standard shipping cost to send the new item to you.
